I have over 30 years of experience in western healthcare.When I started, I truly believed it was the best way of treating things.Over 13 years ago I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder and I have discovered western medicine primarily manages symptoms and does not seek the root cause of the problem.
There are definite times when western medicine and medical physicians are required, however, there are opportunities where naturopathic techniques can be beneficial alone or alongside medical intervention. Each person should have an opportunity to make the choice that will best suit their health and their life.
I do not diagnose conditions or prescribe medication.I offer guidance on lifestyle adjustments that should be made based on imbalances presenting at the time of consultation.Methods recommended to assist lifestyle changes and healing of the body’s energetic flow are:

Why Naturopathy?
Wellness = Balance.
When we are stressed, ill, or fatigued we are not balanced. Naturopathy uses all natural, non-invasive methods that work with our bodies to assist in healing and managing the different stressors in life to bring our systems back into balance.


Foundations of Health
Health Foundations are very basic : Air, Nutrition, Sunshine, Water , Exercise, Rest , Spirituality. By balancing out these foundation we can often find the ANSWERS to why we have certain ailments.
Stress
Stress comes in many forms: physical, mental, spiritual. All stress causes an imbalance in one of more of our systems. It is very important to find ways to manage or remove stressors.
Detoxification
This is simply the elimination of things that no longer serve our body. Our body was created to do this, but when imbalances occur this process can become sluggish delaying the release and contributing to a build up of toxic waste that negatively impacts health.

Digestion
Immune function starts here. Gut health seems to be the buzz word, but it is where most every problem starts. A healthy digestive track is necessary for wellness.
Fatigue
Fatigue is a result of a loss of energy. Sounds obvious, but it can be a result of more than just physical exertion. Imbalanced systems pull energy from balanced systems in order to try and achieve their own balance. This causes energy loss resulting in fatigue.
